Big Ten cities plan similar development projects

East Lansing isn’t the only Big Ten town looking to give residents a better view of its skyline. Madison, Wis., home of the University of Wisconsin, and Ann Arbor are pursuing development projects similar to East Lansing’s City Center II, which calls for the creation of a 10-story building along Abbot Road and Grand River Avenue.

MSU squashes Eastern, 42-10

Senior running back Javon Ringer carried the ball 34 times for 135 yards and five touchdowns as the MSU football team picked up their first win of the season, beating Eastern Michigan 42-10 Saturday at Spartan Stadium.
