Bernero announces run for governor

Democrats finally have their first serious contender for the 2010 governor’s race. Lansing Mayor Virg Bernero officially announced his gubernatorial candidacy Monday to replace term-limited Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm, visiting Detroit and Grand Rapids before ending his first campaign tour at the Lansing Center, 333 E. Michigan Ave. Read more »
