Two distance runners will represent MSU at the 2002 NCAA Championships in Baton Rouge, La.

Sophomores Jamie Krzyminski and Michelle Carson will compete in the 10,000-meter race at the championships May 29-June 1.

The two qualified for the championships at the Stanford Invitational on March 29. Krzyminski qualified with a 10th-place time of 33 minutes, 58.89 seconds, while Carson finished 15th with a time of 34:11.96.
