Two more warrants for arrests were issued today by city and county officials in relation to the March 28-30 disturbances.
A 20-year-old male MSU student faces charges of rioting, malicious destruction of property, both felonies and a misdemeanor charge of arson.
A 20-year-old male Lansing Community College student also faces felony charges of unlawful assembly as well as malicious destruction of property.
The felonies carry a charge of up to a five-year sentence and up to $10,000 fine. The misdemeanor carry of charge of up to 93-day sentence and up to $500 fine.
When the two are arrested, it will bring the number of arrests to 30 - including 24 MSU students.
MSU police officials say they have received about 85 tips in relation to the disturbances and say more arrests are still on the way.
MSU police inspector William Wardwell said officers are still hoping to identify about 12 more people, adding that number will increase as more tips come. The investigation could continue even when students return to their homes for the summer.
"It would make it easier if they were still around town," Wardwell said.
The city and campus sustained more than $40,000 in damage and officers say rioting won't be tolerated.
Under a Board of Trustees policy following the March 27-28, 1999 riots, a student can be punished by the university on campus for off-campus activity.
At least four students had been temporarily suspended for their alleged involvement in the riot, but at least two of those suspensions have been lifted.
