The No. 1 seed MSU hockey team will head to Albany, N.Y. for the first round of the NCAA Tournament and face No. 4 seed New Hampshire on Saturday.
The Spartans return to the national tournament for the first time since the 2003-04 season.
Other CCHA teams in the tournament include No. 3 seed Michigan, which will face No. 2 seed North Dakota and No. 2 seed Miami (Ohio), which will face No. 3 seed Boston College.
The Frozen Four will be held in Milwaukee, Wisc.
