(Last updated: 09/04/07 10:49pm)For more than 10 years, Steve McCornack, 44, and Kelly Morrison, 42, have joined forces to teach COM 225, An Introduction to Interpersonal Communication, together.
“Our class focuses largely on relationships; friendship, family, romantic, and how those can be maintained and sometimes ended,” McCornack said.
McCornack and Morrison met in the 1980s at the University of Illinois and married in 1988.
The couple, who have three children and live in East Lansing, said they leave personal business at home while teaching, but they aren’t free from bickering during class.
“That’s one of the things students seem to like. It’s not just team taught – it’s husband and wife,” McCornack said.
