MSU employee robbed during lunch break

A laptop, cell phone and MP3 player were among the $1,700 worth of property stolen from a Kedzie Hall office Wednesday, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. A 28-year-old MSU employee reported that she left her silver Dell Latitude notebook, silver Motorola cell phone, Creative Zen MP3 player, Eddie Bauer carry bag, prescription sunglasses, flash drive, wallet, credit cards and purse in her unlocked office between 12:30-1 p.m., McGlothian-Taylor said. The employee said she left her office to eat lunch and noticed her property was missing when she returned. There were no suspects at the scene, McGlothian-Taylor said.

Student’s windshield punched, cracked

A 24-year-old student is in need of a new windshield after hers was punched outside Spartan Village on Saturday, McGlothian-Taylor said. The windshield on the student’s silver 2001 Oldsmobile Alero was cracked on the passenger side of the car after being punched by an unknown male at about 3 a.m., McGlothian-Taylor said. The incident caused an estimated $200 worth of damage.

same stuff day after day – will you ever learn????? I am guessing that tomorrow we will read that a laptop was stolen from a dorm room, a beer bottle was thrown through a window, a bike was stolen, and some dork exposed himself in the library…
