What BS. I can’t believe they care about engineering students being able to live close to their college. I’m physics and math in Lyman Briggs, but I have to hike halfway across campus to both BPS and Wells, and I often get back after midnight. Why not relocate LBC to Shaw? Cafeteria’s definitely nicer there, and we can cut off some of the flotsam (any pre-meds who don’t work and just drink all the time) to fit the college into the smaller hall.

And the bit about freshmen engineers having more work than other majors? Apparently you’ve never seen my freshman year. At most, you’re on-par with science majors.

OK, so all the engineers are moving to Case Hall or Shaw, right? Simon says just west of Farm Lane? So are they planning to wipe out that services building next to the tennis courts? Hallelujah. Ugly building.

As a former engineering major I could not believe how much more work and studying I had to do compared to my friends who were not in engineering. It sure would have been nice to have had a shorter walk when I was coming home from the engineering building at 1, 2, 3:00 in the morning.
