			<description>As a TA and a proud member of the GEU, I think it&#8217;s important to reiterate that the TAs are merely asking for their wage levels to increase at the rate of inflation (which is at a 17 year high, by the way). In response to this proposal, the university has offered the TAs a 0% wage increase for four years! This is a slap and the face and deserves to be met with a flurry of letters to the board of trustees and President Simon herself.

	Teaching Assistants deserve a fair contract!</description>

	I meant to write that the 0% increase is a slap IN the face&#8230; if they gave us a slap AND a face it would not be so bad.</description>
