The body of MSU student Rylan Cotter was lying 28 feet from the base of an electrical tower when she was discovered, Chesterton, Ind., police said Wednesday.
Cotter was found dead on a golf course in Chesterton on Jan. 9. Police are still investigating the cause of death.
“We’re looking into all aspects of the investigation, not limited to homicide, suicide, accidental or incidental death or otherwise,” Chesterton police Lt. Dave Cincoski said.
Police announced new video evidence of Cotter at a Chesterton area business at about 12:45 p.m. Jan. 7. This is the earliest known documentation of Cotter’s presence in the town where she was found two days later.
Chesterton police Chief George Nelson said there are no new leads in the case.
