Student steals university parking pass, gets ticket
A 19-year-old male MSU student was ticketed Wednesday for possession of a stolen university parking pass, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. The student was contacted by police after parking officials located a stolen parking pass on his vehicle, McGlothian-Taylor said. The pass had been stolen from a vehicle in the Holden Hall parking lot Tuesday. Police impounded the vehicle and contacted the student, who was issued a citation, McGlothian-Taylor said. The student’s car was released to him, but police confiscated the parking pass, McGlothian-Taylor said.

I wondered the same thing…since stealing a numbered pass registered with the police and then trying to use it is a mark of genius:)

I am really pleased to finally see a police brief that does not end with, “still under investigation…” It is nice to see a conclusion to one finally.
