Mark Ruhala’s teacher gave him two choices: join the cast of the musical at East Lansing High School or fail his 10th-grade English class. Although his teenage self had a “very narrow point of view” about theater and dance, he chose the former and found he loved it enough to make it a career.

I love contra dancing- come to a dance- March 29 even- and give it a try. Some people say it is the most fun you can have with your clothes on!

Contra dancing is so lively and social at the same time! It is the most playful you can get and still be acceptable(at least by the easy-going group of people who dance together in Lansing). We nearly always have a new dancer workshop at 7:30 PM before the 8 PM dance.
First timers get in for a mere $4.00!!
This Saturday, April 5 is another dance. Check it out!
