I personally know Kyle Meagher. He is a great person and did not deserve this! I am shocked that anyone would ever do this to him! Those “boys” need to be punished for what they’ve done! If they are not… I worry they’ll do this to more people! I pray he gets well soon and send him my love!

Tit for tat – I have to agree with Steve on this one. Personally, if someone did that to me, I would hope that they go to Gitmo if found guilty.

please people, get all the facts straight before saying that these guys should be jailed in mexican prison…Meagher was not struck with a blunt object, in a report given to The Oregonian, Meagher said he was struck with a, “right hook”....never heard of somebody right hooking somebody with something like a big metal object, something that would do that much damage to anothers jaw. And it seems that somebodies story isn’t straight, because its reported that this attack happened more around the 2 o’clock hour not 4. You people are such tools.

Ok, so as of now everyone who is involved in this case or knows someone who is involved is pointing the FINGER so it doesn’t include him or her. Let’s get things some things straight…
1st-
Kyle did get hit. That’s a fact; He was hit (by someone or something). Maybe he was hit so hard by a fist (the alleged right hook) that after the one and only punch thrown the damages he received were from the fall from being hit not the hand that hit him. Has anyone thought about that? He was driven to the hospital by a cab driver (who’s name is in some of the articles on the web)
2nd-
The two guys accused of the attack do stick out in a crowd… come on now how many 6’11 guys do you see in a night? Also a 6’11 guy with a friend who is 5’6, and the way people described how they were acting at the bar the night they were arrested you know it had to be them… or were they just being typical spring breakers out for a few drinks being loud and out of control because that’s what students do when they are on spring break.
3rd-
Who saw any of this go down?
Cabo is a very busy town especially a Friday night during March. I don’t know what night of the week would be the night the streets would be packed with people other than a Friday night so someone had to see something, however no one wants to say anything which is sad on all parts. Two possible innocent college kids could go to jail (again), and on the other hand another college kid is eating everything threw a straw. SOMEONE had to see something
Where did it take place?
All the reports are different and why? Well, let’s see it’s Spring Break around 2am-4am in a resort town known for its party atmosphere I think we are going to get a lot of different stories because anyone who has something to say is or was most likely intoxicated between the hours of 2am-4am on a Friday night on Spring Break.
Anyways, it did happen between 2am-4am and Cabo is a small town so when someone says in Between Zoo Bar and Nowhere Bar is where it happened well that’s a general area of town, and guess what else is in between those two bars,” Burger King” and the “TAXI STAND”, so saying that the stories don’t match up because of the location is BULL because they are describing the area by different land marks. So it did happen in front of Zoo, near Nowhere Bar, in front of Burger King. How’s that.
4th-
Mexico is NOT the USA. In Mexico you are guilty until you prove you are innocent so how did these guys get out so quickly when they were obviously picked up because of some form of complaint. Supposedly the police would not take their bribe of $100 dollars so did it cost them more? Reports say that the families were discussing a settlement for medical bills. What happened there? Did they reach an agreement? OR was that money used to get the two guys out of a Mexican jail quickly?
I’m not sure why I’ve taken the time to write this or who will read this I guess I’m just as frustrated as everyone else who is wanting answers to questions only 3 college students know.
