ELPD investigates unarmed robberies
The East Lansing Police Department is currently investigating four unarmed robberies that occurred last night between 11 p.m. and midnight.
The robberies occurred on the 1200 block of E. Grand River Ave., the 1100 block of Victor Street and the 500 block of Albert Avenue, according to the ELPD.
The crimes are believed to be related and involve four male suspects in their early twenties. In each incident, the suspects approached the victims and demanded money, according to the ELPD.
The suspects were last seen leaving in a small, black four-door vehicle. No weapons were seen, according to the ELPD.

As typical, the State News does not publish descriptions of suspects. It their goal to actually help the suspects be caught? Were they male/female; or black, white, yellow, green? Who is the State News really trying to protect?

Come on Hussein… it’s definitely Martians… since we know that, we can just round up every dude that lives in, around, or near East Lansing. There can’t be that many early-twenties males in East Lans… oh, wait, nevermind… let’s go back to the Martians.

Hopefully the State News actually reads the comments about all of the police briefs. Maybe some day they will put some sort of meaningful information into on of them. Otherwise I would say this article was a waste of “journalistic” time.

What is the point in having the description of their clothing when that does nothing to help identify them later on? Maybe you can start publishing the full description including their race. What is more important? Catching the criminals or some PC bullshit.
