This is the first year where the Green Party has won more than half of it’s races in the first six months of the cycle. The Green Party currently has 272 candidates running for the year. Most of the partisan races have declared. There will probably be several more non-partisan races declaring. Green candidates, Independent Green candidates are filling the ballot for local, state, and federal office across America. In Virginia alone we have 5 U.S. House candidates, 1 U.S. Senate candidate all Indy, Indy Green endorsed/nominated. That’s just the federal races. Look at the spectacular full slate of Green Party candidates that the Green Parties of Arkansas, Oregon, and Illinois – just to name a few -have fielded. More Green Party candidates are coming.
