Numerous E.L. road closures in coming week
By Allison Bush (Last updated: 08/07/08 6:43pm)Albert Avenue between Bailey Street and Collingwood Drive will be closed from Monday until Wednesday.
The reason for the closure is to complete the paving for the new Albert Place Condominiums.
There will also be numerous street closures for the Great Lakes Folk Festival from 6 a.m. Friday until 10 p.m. Sunday.
These include: – Albert Avenue between Evergreen Avenue and Charles Street – Abbot Road between Grand River Avenue and Linden Street – M.A.C. Avenue between Grand River Avenue and Linden Street – A portion of Valley Court – Evergreen Avenue between Grand River and Oakhill avenues – Grove Street at Albert Avenue – Parking Lot 4, at Albert Avenue and Abbot Road – Parking Lot 8, behind People’s Church, 200 W. Grand River Ave. – Parking Lot 16, by City Center and CVS/pharmacy, 240 M.A.C. Ave.

08/11/08 2:07pmWilson Road has been closed for months and no one is ever over there working. It is a complete mess and no one is sure how the students will be able to move into the Wilson or Holden dorms. SN— look into this please!
