Are you kidding?
“His political career is probably over,” said Michael Craw, an assistant professor in James Madison College specializing in urban politics.”
Maybe in EL, but not in Detroit professor! This give his-lowness way more street cred than he had yesterday, when all he did was cheat on his wife, lie, and push around a couple of schmoes. Having served time is a huge advantage in the next go-‘round. I can hear the victim BS already. Couple that with rhe race card that this scum plays every twelve minutes and he’ll beat any opponent by a landslide. Detroit voters behave according to the battered wife syndrome. He ain’t done by any means. Any he will NEVER serve out the measley 120 days he copped for. First thing tomorrow he’ll get credit for the overnight stay last month and it will snowball from there.

“I want to tell you, Detroit, that you just set me up for a comeback,”

	What an arrogant prick.

Here’s the kicker – He said he’ll come back. I think the voters in Detroit are just stupid enough to re-elect him when his probation is over. It just seems to me that the deeper into (expletive) a city goes, the more ignorant, arrogant, self-righteous, and just plain scummy the mayor is.

Ok, instead of bashing the people of Detroit, why not look at this long overdue resignation as a possible new beginning? Sure, some people in Detroit seem to be ridiculously clueless, but I assure you, the vast majority have been sick and tired of Kwame for a long time. So, take your potshots if you want to, but just remember that the fate of Detroit affects this whole state.

Most of them have been tired of Kwame? Really? Then why did they re-elect him?

there’s absolutely NO way a group of people can elect somebody and get tired of them during their term

now im enlightened, because I never knew that once you vote for someone you agree with them throughout the term no matter what

	thanks steve!

I don’t know Steve. You’d have to ask them. I do know, however, that Freeman Hendrix won the 2005 primary; that was the first time that an incumbent mayor had lost. I know it’s hard for you to believe, but yes, people were tired of Kwame then. Somehow, he was able to come back from behind and win the election. He’s obviously not the most scrupulous man in the world, but no one had any concrete proof of illegal activity at that time. In any case, if you want info on how people are feeling NOW, just take a look at any of the city papers.

yeah, hi:
You didn’t answer Steve’s question. He asked why they re-elected Kwame Korruption. You said “Somehow, he was able to come back from behind and win the election.” Somehow, is that these voters are ignorant a-holes who can’t think past their next welfare check. It didn’t “just happen” he was re-elected because in Detroit, the animals run the zoo [which aint in deetroit, or it would be trashed too].
