MSU grad sentenced for Cedar Fest

A 23-year-old MSU graduate was sentenced Wednesday to 20 days in the Ingham County Jail for his participation in April’s Cedar Fest riot.
Michael R. Banish, who pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct by obstructing, resisting or hindering a police officer, was sentenced by 54-B District Court Judge David L. Jordon.
Banish was required to pay $2,214.40 in fines and costs.
Of the fines, $1,074.40 is restitution to the city of East Lansing for police expenses, emergency services and property damage that occurred during the Cedar Fest riot.
Banish also was ordered to two years probation and five days of community service. He will serve his jail time on weekends.
The court also issued an order prohibiting Banish from entering or enrolling in any Michigan public community college or university campus for one year.

Please!!!! Steve according to you all who participated in Cedar Fest are idiots. I think your the idiot!!!!! I think you need mental health!!!! These students are educated and Cedar Fest was not a riot!!! It was a big Party!!!! You need to get a life!!! You judge people way to harshly. I’ll bet you have no friends or life. Move on! You should put your energy towards something positive. Not trashing people! You have self esteem issues.
