The entire Democratic presidential ticket, plus former contender Hillary Clinton, will be in Michigan this weekend.
Barack Obama and Joe Biden will stage a rally Sunday in Detroit, along with their wives Michelle and Jill.
Obama, Clinton to visit Mich. this weekend
The rally will be open to the public. A time and location are expected to be released this morning, Obama spokesman Brent Colburn said.
Clinton will make stops in Lansing, Flint and Grand Rapids on Saturday to campaign for Obama.
The visit is part of a program called “Hillary Sent Me,” which seeks to encourage voters who supported Clinton to cast their ballots for Obama.
Details of location and time of Clinton’s Lansing appearance also are forthcoming.
