But, if you go back and watch the tapes of all of the Congressman on TV. Nearly EVERYONE believed that they were there. This was not George W. Bush telling them what to believe. This was the intelligence that we had. Everyone saw the same thing. As much as Barack Obama would like to say he opposed the war, 1) he was a state senator at the time and really didn’t have a say on the national stage, and 2) the district that he was from was one of the most vocal against the war. Conservatives often use words like socialism and calling people radical liberals to prove a point. The truth is those words have a negative connotation and are used by the folks on Fox News to paint a picture of someone who is gonna raise your taxes and is soft when fighting wars.
