Student models hit runway for charity

Fashion shows are not typical staples of homecoming festivities, but Cyrus McNeal, an MSU alumnus and founder of PS Magazine, hopes his second annual ICONZ Fashion Show will be Homecoming weekend’s main event.

Entitled I AM LEGEND, the show is being sponsored by PS Magazine and Purpose, a registered student organization.

It begins at 6 p.m. Sunday in the IM Sports-West main gym and will feature around 30 MSU student models who were selected to participate last semester based on personality, life experience and model and leadership potential.

The show’s opening act will feature designs by members of the Student Apparel Design Association in cooperation with the local organization Path of Pink, a breast cancer awareness group.

McNeal expects around 800 people to attend this year’s show. Tickets range from $10 to $20 for bleacher seating and $80 for VIP tables closer to the runway. They can be purchased by student representatives on campus or by going to ps-mag.com/iconz.
