A national center created to advance educational research in science, technology, engineering and math will aim to prepare students for an evolving job market.
Barbara Schneider, MSU’s John A. Hannah distinguished professor in education, will lead the Center for Advancing Research and Communication in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
The program will support more than 300 education research projects nationwide, increasing awareness of the four subject areas.
At MSU, Schneider will lead research on how knowledge gained at different levels of the REESE projects can lead to changes in education policy for the center.
