Electronics, backpack stolen from dorm room
An Xbox, two Xbox 360s, a MacBook laptop, an Asus laptop, a backpack, calculator and gloves were stolen from an Armstrong Hall dorm room during the weekend, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The items belonged to two 18-year-old roommates. The first roommate said he locked the room when he left at 5:30 p.m. Friday. When he returned at 4:14 p.m. Saturday, the items were missing.
The other roommate left the room later in the day, but said he locked the door, McGlothian-Taylor said.
The victims were not sure if the door was unlocked when they returned, but there were no signs of forced entry, McGlothian-Taylor said.
The value of the loss is estimated at $3,760, and the incident is still under investigation.

Lets see, how many freshman does it take to “lose” 4K? Two, but they must lie about locking the door…

Why wouldn’t they get money for it? That’s what you buy insurance for in the first place.

This sounds like the biggest scam…why does one dorm room have 2 Xbox 360’s and an Xbox? You would think they would have tried to be smarter and make it seem like they actually got their stuff stolen.
