First of all that really sucks. Second, a loss of $54? I’m betting she paid twice that much for the book. Just proof positive the textbook companies rip you off….

Was she there when the book was stolen? I need specifics!!! How should I know whether to even bring books to the library and study with them if they’re going to be taken right out of my hands?!?!?
Computers, ipods, phones….and now TEXTBOOKS? When will it all stop?

This is by far the stupidest police brief I have seen yet,it sounds like something I would have read in jr high. First of all who informs the cops over a stolen book, is the MSU PD going to start a crime scene investigation…lol,BIG DEAL its $54 grow up!

She seriously called the police for a stolen text book???
What do you get out of it???
You gonna make yourself an insurance claim… so you can pay a $250 or $500 deductible to get that $54 reimbursed???
Let me do you a favor… next time you’re studying… let me know… I’ll steal the rest of your books… and then it will be worth your while to call the police. Deal?
