Increasing government control and people’s dependence on government does not foster the pioneering spirit our country was built on. It encourages people to produce less because they’ll be taken care of regardless. It would be beautiful if every man woman and child could have health care, but the bottom line is that someone has to pay for it, and people who don’t pull their weight are covered by taxing people who work to earn a living. Some people can’t help themselves and those are the folks who should get assistence from the government. However, relying on the government to live should not be the norm. She is terrible. Remember last year around this time??? Budgets were the issues, and that the state actually shut down for a few hours….because everyone was bluffing, refussing to cut things that needed to be cut, and then came up with the brilliant service tax idea, as well as other taxes being retroactive for the first of the year….my husband and I own a small business….but then the government changed their minds on it at the last minute after everyone was so confused and mad. We don’t need people like that fixing the lives of 300,000,000 people. But I would like Governor out of Michigan, she has been majorly screwing up stuff here.
