Former MSU hockey players Ryan Miller and Tom Anastos were recognized on The Hockey News’ annual list of the 100 People of Power and Influence.
Miller, who is currently a goaltender for the Buffalo Sabres, was listed as No. 25, while Anastos, the commissioner of the CCHA, was selected as No. 86.
Miller played for the Spartans from 1999-2001 and earned numerous awards while at MSU. Miller won the Hobey Baker Award, was a two-time All-American and CCHA Player of the Year and set the NCAA career shutout record with 26.
Anastos donned the Green and White from 1981-85 and served as an assistant coach for MSU from 1990-92.
