RHA appoints 5 to Residence Hall disciplinary group

February 8, 2009

The Residence Halls Association, or RHA, confirmed five judicial appointees to the Residence Hall Area Board at its meeting Wednesday.

“I’m just really relieved that we’ve gotten them up and confirmed and appointed because that was something that had been slightly delayed just because the initial interest wasn’t there,” RHA President Mark Dobson said.

The five appointees include political science and pre-law junior Krystin Foster, social relations policy junior Patrice Johnson, James Madison no-preference freshman Karyn Bigelow, political science and pre-law sophomore Ryan Thompson and marketing freshman Kelsey Rosen.

The Residence Hall Area Board deals with disciplinary actions that occur in residence halls.

“I’m really quite pleased with the group. They are all pretty level-headed” Dobson said. “I think they’re a sound group to be able to make those kind of decisions.”
