RHA names president for 2009-10

MSU’s Residence Halls Association, or RHA, elected hospitality business sophomore Emma Perot as the organization’s next president during a meeting Wednesday night that lasted into Thursday morning.

Perot, the communications coordinator for RHA, will job shadow current president Mark Dobson until April 8th, when the president-elect is officially sworn in.

When Perot takes office, it will mark the end of a near three-year term for Dobson, who has served as RHA’s president since November 2006. Dobson plans to graduate in May.

RHA Vice President Kevin Fleury and Director of RHA TV Scott Bishop were the two other candidates up for the position.
