Guards Allen, Lucious undergo surgery

MSU guards Chris Allen and Korie Lucious will undergo surgery Friday to repair broken bones in their right feet, according to an MSU Athletic Communications release.

According to the release, Allen, a sophomore, and Lucious, a freshman, suffered the injuries during Monday night’s NCAA national championship game against North Carolina.

The timetable for each player’s recovery is approximately eight weeks.

Wow. I knew Lucious got hurt, but I don’t remember Allen getting hurt. Hopefully they get well quick and can get back to practicing to get better for next year with no after affects.
