Job expo scheduled today in Lansing

Capital Area Michigan Works! will hold a spring job expo from 2:30-6 p.m. today at the Lansing Center, 333 E. Michigan Ave.

The event will give job seekers an opportunity to network with more than 50 local companies in a variety of industries, including information technology, health care, finance and manufacturing.

Lansing area training institutes and vocational schools also will be on hand for job seekers who need extra training and education in a select field.

A free shuttle from both Capital Area Michigan Works! locations, at 2110 S. Cedar St., in Lansing, and 101 W. Cass St., in St. Johns, will run to and from the event free of charge.

Professional dress is required for entry. Job seekers should bring multiple copies of their résumés and to be ready for on-site interviews.
