$1000 in items stolen from Surplus Store
Miscellaneous items valued at about $1,000 were stolen between June 30 and July 1 from the MSU Surplus Store, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
A 28-year-old male employee reported the incident, which is under investigation.
There are no suspects.

Surplus may refer to: in economics, economic surplus (including producer surplus and consumer surplus).
With this definition is place, I can clearly see that the surplus taken in this article, was actually the surplus of the producer and then became the surplus of the consumer, also known as the “THIEF”.
