Kurt Kwiatkowski has a lot on his plate. As MSU’s first corporate chef, he spends his days running from cafeteria to cafeteria, checking on chefs and experimenting with new recipes in his role as a central component in a move to put MSU at the cutting edge of on-campus dining services.

So, this is why the Provost is making cuts to the MSU budget. (From the article right NEXT to this one.)

State has given up on trying to get top programs outside of chemistry and physics. Instead they’re focusing on food now.

Comment from Death to Grand River

Kiss some of your favorite local resturants and businesses goodbye kids. MSU will put a nail in the coffin of competition, and the ones they will hurt with this plan is small locally owned businesses. If you don’t deliver pizza til 4, have a liquer licence, or are a corporate mega chain, this policy will put you out of business. Get ready to see Grand River lose tenants like never before. First they ship thousands of students away to Chandler crossing, next they take away one of the primary reasons underclassmen who can’t drink go to downtown: Eat good food. Foot traffic has been down on Grand River, and that affects ALL busineses on Gramd River. Great job MSU, and kiss any chance for a unique college town goodbye.
