“I’m a senior at Michigan State doing a double major and I’m doing psychology and religious studies. It’s a very exciting degree … however, there’s not a lot of promise for jobs outside of the bachelor’s degree in either of those areas. Now, I could get a job in doing something different, but if I want to actually go into psychology or religion, it’s going to take a lot of extra work and that means I’m probably going to be going straight to grad school.”

“Well, I am actually going to law school in the fall, so I’m going to go through the process of applying to law school and things of that nature.”
Patrice Johnson
social relations and policy senior

“Well, I’ve done the MySpartanCareer route. (I’m) pretty active in that and I’m just waiting to hear back. The big résumé dropoff dates run through September and then you hear back in the beginning of October and just depending on the success of that (and) some of the feedback from companies, I’m just going to make the decision between grad school and pursuing the job market.”

finance senior
