Animal lovers strapped for cash can head to Potter Park Zoo on Saturday. The zoo is holding a free day for all residents of Ingham County.
The Potter Park Zoo Board, the Ingham County Commissioners and the Parks and Recreation Commission have named every first Saturday of October as “Free Day” and are offering free admission and parking.
In addition, every Monday at Potter Park Zoo is “Reduced Rate Day,” and residents of Ingham County can enjoy all the zoo has to offer at $3 for adults, $2 for seniors and $1 for children.
Potter Park Zoo is open daily and is located at 1301 S. Pennsylvania Ave., in Lansing.
