Health care officials to meet for forum
By Marissa Cumbers (Last updated: 09/16/09 10:32pm)Mid-Michigan health care and business leaders will gather from 5:30-8 p.m. Sept. 22 at the Eagle Eye Conference Center, 15500 Chandler Road, for Lansing’s Sparrow Hospital and MSU’s Healthcare Policy and Issues forum.
Leaders in the health industry will discuss the impact of the pending national health care reform and how reform will impact Michigan.
Speakers include Laura Appel, the vice president of federal policy and advocacy at the Michigan Health and Hospital Association; Wendy Block, the director of health policy at the Michigan Chamber of Commerce; and Denise Holmes, the associate dean in the MSU College of Human Medicine.
