Man’s vehicle damaged at Surplus Store

A middle-aged man from Perrinton, Mich., reported $200 in damage to his vehicle Monday after another driver backed into the vehicle at the MSU Surplus Store and Recycling Center.

Another man of an unknown age backed his 2006 Ford into the Perrinton man’s vehicle at about 3 p.m. while attempting to leave a parking space at the center. The collision dented the Perrinton man’s front bumper and driver’s side corner, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.

The driver of the Ford was found at fault and the case is closed, McGlothian-Taylor said.
