Volunteers needed for E.L. Cleanup

By Marissa Cumbers Originally Published: 09/30/09 9:26pm Modified: 09/30/09 9:29pm No comments

The Community Relations Coalition is looking for volunteers to help in a neighborhood cleanup Sunday.

The cleanup is the second of two put on by the CRC and the city of East Lansing. Volunteers pitch in to pick up trash around neighborhoods in the city limits after high-profile football games.

Anyone who wants to volunteer can meet at 10:30 a.m. in the parking lot of the East Lansing Police Department, 409 Park Lane. Gloves and trash bags will be provided by the East Lansing Department of Public Works.

Students and residents interested in helping out can contact CRC intern coordinator Chris Sell at (517) 432-7516.
