“Boo at the Zoo” will be offered by Potter Park Zoo, in Lansing, and the Potter Park Zoological Society, from noon to 4 p.m. on Oct. 24 and 25.
Activities will be provided for the whole family, including face painting, hayrides, live animal presentations, a bake sale and others.
The event will debut Scarecrow Alley, a Halloween display created from entries in the zoo’s scarecrow building contest.
“Everything is designed to be merry, not scary” Zoological Society Director Diane McNeil said.
Admission is $4 for residents, $10 for nonresidents and $2 for kids 16 years or younger.
Strip tickets are available for $1.
The strip ticket gives access to the Boo Tunnel, a hayride, trebuchet game and a temporary tattoo.
Wagon rental is available.
