Feminism conference set to begin today

The seventh biennial Feminisms and Rhetorics Conference begins today at the Kellogg Center.
The theme of this year’s conference, which is hosted by the MSU Rhetoric & Writing Program, is “Enabling Complexities: Communities/Writing/Rhetoric.” The three-day conference will include women-based lectures and writing workshops.
Featured speakers include Resa Crane Bizzaro, a member of the CCCC Caucus for American Indian Scholars and Scholarships, Gwendolyn Pough, an associate professor of women’s and gender studies, writing and rhetoric at Syracuse University, Dora Ramirez-Dhoore, the associate chair and assistant professor of ethnic American literature at Boise State University and others.
