After the announcement Monday that U2 will perform at Spartan Stadium this summer as part of their North American “360” tour, The State News caught up with students around East Lansing and gathered opinions about what they thought.

We asked what they had to say about booking such a well-recognized band.

“I don’t like U2, (and) I don’t really care about them coming to Spartan Stadium.”

“I don’t really listen to them, but obviously it’s a big event. They’re a pretty big band globally. I’m sure there will be a lot of people who go see it.”
