Local zoo seeks input on design plan
Tweet
Lansing residents can be involved in planning the future of Potter Park Zoo by attending a design workshop at 6 p.m. on Oct. 27.
The workshop is the second of two and will allow attendees to see how designers have incorporated previous commentary from staff and the public at previous workshops into early designs.
It will be held in the Safari Room at Potter Park Zoo, 1301 S. Pennsylvania Ave., in Lansing. Original design plans can be reviewed at the Potter Park Zoo office, online at www.potterparkzoo.org or by calling (517) 483-4222.
An updated version of the plans will be available for viewing at the workshop. For those unable to attend the workshop, commentary also can be sent by mail to Potter Park Zoo, Attention Billie Harris, 1301 S. Pennsylvania Ave., Lansing, MI 48912 or by e-mail to bharris@ingham.org until Oct. 30.
