Panel to discuss health services

By Heather Guenther Originally Published: 10/11/09 9:20pm 2 comments

Students will have one final opportunity to weigh in on campus health services today before recommendations for change will be sent to Provost Kim Wilcox.

The meeting runs from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in B-106 Wells Hall.

James Hillard, associate provost for human health affairs, said he will join several other senior administrators with student health services-related responsibilities at the meeting to listen to students’ concerns and opinions on current student health services, including Olin Health Center.

Why do they bother holding these talks? Do you really believe that during this talk a few students will say something then Wilcox will be like, “oh, never saw it that way.” This is such BS. Everything a student says, the administration just says ok i’ll consider it…and then they do whatever it is they feel like doing. Students have no power at this university. none whatsoever.

Who cares if they leave it or move it or whatever. I have never gone there and know only a few that have. Move it, save money, and lower my tuition. I see my family doctor at home…if I have the need.
