Car accident in Lot 9; nobody injured
The parking brakes of a 2006 Volkswagen Golf slipped, causing it to roll into a 2006 Ford Suzuki at about 9:39 a.m. Monday in Lot 9, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The collision caused about $2,000 of damage to the Volkswagen and $500 of damage to the Suzuki. Damage to both vehicles consisted of scrapes to the paint. The front bumper on the driver side of the Volkswagen also was knocked out of place.
The owner of the Volkswagen, a 50-year-old Okemos resident, was held at fault for the incident.
