Laundry stolen from washing machine

Two students reported $440 worth of clothing and a $10 laundry basket stolen from a public washing machine in Spartan Village, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.

The victims, a 23-year-old woman and 29-year-old man who live together in Spartan Village, left the laundry room while their clothing was in the machine. The woman returned to find the clothing, which included a dress, two pairs of jeans, five shirts and several pairs of underwear, missing, along with the basket.

There are no suspects and the incident is under investigation.

Good call Menel. I was just going to write the exact same thing! I remember reading how someone put dog crap inside of a dryer while someone left the laundry room! What’s worse? Clothes covered in dog poop or stolen?

The question is: how long did they leave their stuff in the washing machine? Was in another one of these things where they left them in their for 10 hours and they were gone?

And to answer your question, I think I’d rather have them stolen. Then you don’t have to worry about throwing away poop covered clothes, because I’m sure you’re not gonna wear them again.

Protip: Stay with your clothes while they’re washing, plan enough time to do so and you won’t have things be open for getting stolen. Yeah, it sucks people would steal your things, but there are people like that in the world. :p

If that stuff is really worth $440, then what I learned from this report is that the “victims” are not good shoppers.
