Recycling site open

East Lansing opened its temporary recycling drop-off site last week at Patriarch Park, located on Alton Road between Saginaw Highway and Burcham Drive.
The site is open 24 hours per day, seven days per week through mid-April for residents to recycle boxboard and corrugated materials.
The city has year-round recycling sites at the East Lansing Department of Public Works, 1800 E. State Road, in Lansing, and at the East Lansing Public Schools Administration Building, 841 Timberlane St.
