By Zane McMillin Originally Published: 11/09/09 11:10pm No comments

More than 150 researchers and educators will participate in a three-day international conference aimed at examining ethical treatment of children slated to occur Nov. 11-13 at the Kellogg Center.

The Consumer Culture and the Ethical Treatment of Children: Theory, Research and Fair Practice conference will look at various ways marketing and media contribute to the promotion and prevention of child abuse.

Experts from around the world and MSU faculty will speak at the event, as will faculty and graduate students from 20 universities across the globe. Research conducted by MSU’s Department of Advertising, Public Relations and Retailing will be featured at the conference.
