The Downtown Lansing Food Fight Against Hunger is scheduled to take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday.
Businesses, offices and organizations can donate food items, along with monetary donations, to the Mid-Michigan Food Bank.
Food drive to be held in Lansing
Items will be collected in front of the State Capitol Building, near the Capitol Avenue and East Michigan Avenue intersection. The businesses with the most items donated will be awarded the Golden Can traveling trophy.
Businesses or organizations interested in participating should provide their business name and number of employees ahead of time to the Lansing Principal Shopping District by calling (517) 487-3322.
