As part of the celebration for the Julian Samora Research Institute’s 20th anniversary, the MSU Graduate Brass Quintet will perform with the Grammy-nominated Chicago folk group Sones de México.

The groups, conducted by Raphael Jimenez, associate director of MSU Orchestras, will perform at 8 p.m. on Nov. 5 in the Music Building Auditorium.

A discussion panel is scheduled to be held at 1:30 p.m. in Hart Recital Hall in the Music Building the same day.

Both events are free and open to the public.
