Iowa 42, Indiana 24 – It appeared the No. 7 Iowa Hawkeyes overlooked the 4-4 Hoosiers. Indiana built a 21-7 third quarter lead and was poised to break the game open inside Iowa’s five-yard line, but an Indiana pass was deflected several times into the hands of Iowa’s Tyler Sash, who returned the interception 86 yards for an Iowa touchdown, and the Hawkeyes never looked back. Iowa outscored Indiana 35-3 in the second half en route to a 42-24 victory to move to 9-0 and 5-0 in the Big Ten. Iowa quarterback Ricky Stanzi threw a career-high five interceptions, including four in the third quarter.

U-M didn’t score the rest of the game, while Illinois scored 31 points in the second half to defeat U-M 38-13.
