MSU is offering presale tickets for the U2 concert on June 30, 2010.
Every student, staff and faculty member at MSU should receive an e-mail with instructions on how to get presale tickets.
University spokesman Kent Cassella said all MSU students, staff and faculty, as well as various donors.
Season ticket holders at Spartan Stadium will also receive an e-mail regarding presale tickets.
The presale is being offered through Ticketmaster and will begin at 7 p.m. today and run through Nov. 20. Presale tickets are for selected seating.
General public tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Nov. 23. Tickets are available through Live Nation, the tour promoter, Ticketmaster and MSU’s Breslin Center box office.

agreed. bogus. Ticketmaster is as nasty as ever and U2, though I love them dearly, really sucks with their ticket distribution. I’m sure scalpers have already bought hundreds of $50 “U2 Fan Club” accounts just to get into the presales and scoop up all the GAs for our beautiful show before the public sale. I’m afraid to think of how many ticket sets will be on Ebay within 10 minutes of the sale starting…for the Seattle show that went on sale yesterday, it was just over 200 at 10:30AM.
But here’s hoping you and I get our GA, suit!

The U2 fan club members can only buy 4 tickets a year on presale. Kind of a lot of effort and $$ for scalpers to make it worth their while.
